About You
Name: Abby Age: 17 Gender: Female RP Sample: Juliet slowly opened her eyes. She was lying on her side. Either that or the world was tilted. What was the last thing she remembered? She was in Maine with her friend and boarded a cruise. Oh God. A cruise!
Then she remembered looking out of her window in her bedroom on the cruise and seeing massive waves being hurtled at the ship. She remembered screaming right before one of them hit the side of the boat she was facing, shattering her windows in the room with the force, and spilling water into her room. She staggered back, avoiding the falling debris. Giving a shriek, she fell back against the wall as another wave crashed into the ship. She heard screams coming from all around her.
One final blow to the ship sent Juliet flying through the air and landing in a heap against her dresser, knocked out cold from the force.
Now as she opened her eyes to her vertical room, she slowly sat up and put a hand to her forehead groaning in pain. She had one hell of a headache.
She struggled to get to the window, pushing aside various objects in her room that were askew.
It was morning was her first thought. She had been passed out all night. From her work, she knew that was not good at all. She had to get out of there.
She picked her way around the objects, wincing at every noise, which sounded magnified, and ached in her pounding head. She reached the door, managed to open it. Water poured out of her room and entered into the hallway to join the other gallons of water resting there.
She managed to half walk half swim to the light outside. She saw a beach and the people from the ship walking on it. She began to swim towards the beach. The pain in her head seemed palpable, and she needed to reach land soon. She was treading water. She was usually a great swimmer, but with her injuries she was slowly making her way to the beach. It wasn't that far. She could do it. She had to believe she could. Her head began to sink under water.
No she thought. It can't end this way, I am almost there. She was, however, unable to keep going. The pain had reached a new level and it was literally pulling her under.
Then two hands reached out and grabbed her, pulling her to them. He told her that she was going to be ok, and to hold on to him.
Now that I can do. The thanks would come later, she promised herself. She was too tired to thank anyone right now.
Your Character Name: Juliet Bellamont Age: 30 Gender: Female Income Tier: II Profession: Pediatrician Celebrity: Elizabeth Mitchell
Personality:
Juliet is a careful woman. She tends to second-guess herself frequently, and is always wary of strangers. Fortunately for her job, she has never second-guessed her intelligence and capabilities required for being a Pediatrician. Her self-confidence issues lay within her emotional psyche. She has steady hands when working with children, but once she gets home her defenses are let down and her confidence levels waver. Self-confidence has always been lacking in her life, but she never let's it show unless she is alone.
She does have friends. She has very close and personal friends. She has always been friendly, if somewhat reserved. At least she is once you get past her walls, which tends to scare many people away. Once she has a friend she keeps them for life. She needs stability. That is one thing she prides herself on. She set roots and has stayed with them. She has set ways, and only if the matter deserves it, will she bend them.
Rarely will you see Juliet having a night on the town. Unless her friends literally drag her, she is content to sit in front of her fireplace and read the night away. She has intelligence that many have longed to have, although Juliet doesn't know what to do with it sometimes. Sarcasm seems to benefit her when the need arises, which it does often.
She sometimes comes across cold and collected. In reality that is not how she is at all. Insecure and emotionally stilted is more like it. She hasn't cried in years, but her psychiatrist has told her that if she cried then perhaps she could begin to work through her issues. She sees crying as a weakness, and even in the dark nights when she is home alone, she has yet to let out a tear. She may not be able to put on a persona of being content with her life, but outward signs of emotion have been a definite off-limits sign no matter where she is or how alone she may be.
Appearance:
![[image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/aliasobsession/8.jpg)
Juliet has very striking features. Her most alluring feature is her eyes. They are a bright electric blue that seem to pierce through someone with just a look. Many people have said her icy blue eyes reflect her personality. Unfortunately those people do not know her at all. The rare moments when she is truly happy is when she is with her patients, and all of her regular kids love her. They say she has warm blue eyes that their parents tend to disagree with. Juliet has always been better abled to handle the kids instead of their parents.
She has long blonde hair. Her hair is naturally curly, but she usually fixes that. It reaches the middle of her arms and has a gorgeous swirl and bounce. Her friends have jokingly remarked of being jealous of her hair. Blonde hair blue eyed, her friends envied at times. She has a thin nose that is slightly upturned at the end, along with prominent cheekbones that rest high on her face.
She is taller for a woman, resting at just above 5'9. She is thin, but nothing like the stick figures seen in the magazines today. With her stability wishes, she is known to eat rather healthy meals at the same time every day; therefore, her figure is a trim size 6. She also knows the importance of exercising, making her legs well defined. She does not pride herself in her trim body, but rather prides herself in her discipline.
History:
Juliet was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Her parents did not have the money required to live in a good neighborhood in Boston. Juliet was a surprise. They couldn't afford to raise a baby. They did the best they could physically under the circumstances. Juliet usually never went hungry. The thing missing from her household was not food or shelter. Emotionally the house was as cold as the freezer that rarely worked the way it was supposed to. She can't remember a time where her parents told her they loved her. Juliet told her shrink that she felt they did not love her because it put a strain even tighter on her parents than it was before she was born. They rarely touched her. More often than not she was playing with old trinkets of her mothers that her mother collected. Once she was old enough to stand on her feet, go to the bathroom by herself, and eat by herself, most of the physical touching was completely gone. At the age of six she learned how to make her own macaroni and cheese. She would play alone, eat alone, and sleep alone. She was dependent on no one. She learned to live for herself and for herself alone.
Then one night, as she lay awake in her bed, she heard gun shots. Normally that was not anything new where she lived, but this was close. Much closer than normal. It sounded like it was right outside her window. Then she heard her mother scream. Juliet dashed out of her room and went to the window to look outside. Her father was sprawled on the ground, blood seeping through his shirt and onto the ground, making a puddle of blood. The gunman stood over her father and pointed the gun again. Her mother was on the porch screaming and begging for the shooter to leave. He aimed the gun at her father's head and shot. Her eyes watched in horror as her mother ran to her father. The shooter, however, had not left, and stood there grinning. She would never forget his smiling face as he enjoyed the tortured cries and screams of her mother. Then he aimed the gun at her mother. Juliet's mother ceased her screaming and stared up into the barrel of the gun, eyes widening in horror. Another shot rang, and her gasp must have been loud enough to carry through the open window. The gunman twisted around and looked at her. He smiled widely and said "See ya, honey." Then he was gone. The thought still sickened her stomach. The police had questioned and prodded into the situation. The report came through with no reasonable intent. Her parents died for the pleasure of someone watching them die. She doens't believe she can ever receive closure for that, as they never found the killer.
She was then put into the system. She bounced around home to home. She never got settled. Never had stability. Once she reached her teenage years, the families stopped wanting her. No one wanted a ready-made teenager. Eventually she got old enough to leave the system herself. Everything she ever did was by herself. She left Massachusetts and went to Maine. She took community college courses while working two jobs and living in run down apartment. She was smart. Extremely intelligent, and the professors at the college saw something in her. They talked to some people who talked to some people, and got her a scholarship into a prestigious college where she could make a name for herself.
She studied medicine and became a Pediatrician. She loved kids, and wanted no one to live the life she had to live. She may have become cold and bitter to the outside world, but once inside with her children, as she called them, she cared so deeply for them and they all knew it. She became attached to each and every one of her kids that she worked with. Her job became her life. She then got the stability she always craved. By the age of twenty-five she bought a nice apartment, jogged everyday in the park, had dinner at the same time every night, went to bed at the same time, woke up at the same time. Every day was part of a routine that she had picked out for herself.
She never forgot the murderer of her parents, or the terrifying nights she would curl in a ball in one adoption system or the other. Those memories would always be with her, and she thought she would never be able to escape them. Even when she made friends from the doctor's office that she worked in and she had a seemingly happy life, she would always remember and have nightmares. Every night the nightmares would come and she would wake up in a cold sweat. Her friends finally convinced her to see a therapist, and she had been going for over a year. It helped some, but not enough for her to rid herself of the demons in her past. That was when her friends decided it was time for a break. They would go on a cruise and arrive at the Bahamas.
How did he/she get from the ship to the island?: --read sample RP-- The short version is that she was in her room, being knocked out, and woke up to find herself surrounded in water and debris. She then went to the door and swam towards the light. She tried swimming to the shore, but had a concussion and began to drown. Someone came up, grabbed her, and took her to the shore.

Wow, awesome Abby. =) I love her personality and physical appearance. It's incredible.
Since we have three of us and decided two administrators or staff have to approve, I'll have Roy read it too and approve, as well. We won't be shitty teeny boppers (cough cough), haha. I approve.
And out of interest... you don't have the exact person who saved her listed. I'm going to be using Jared Padalecki for a character and he seems the hero type. Perhaps once I have his application written you can look over it and perhaps we could have it so that he pulled her out of the water and took her to shore. Only if you want, that is. =)

Looks fine to me! I've just got two things I want to bring up:
Quote:
I believe you meant ceased her screaming? This is in the paragraph where her parents get shot. Also, I'm curious as to the shooter; was he just some random, crooked-in-the-head shmuck or was there intent behind the murder? It might help to clarify it a teenge.
Otherwise I think you're good to go!

Lille- yes, that would be awesome. I meant for it to be ambiguous so we could make a character who saved her. Woot!
Roy- haha, yes I meant ceased, thanks!
Well, I have never actually lived anywhere like I described, so I figured where they lived was enough to have an evil gunman who killed for fun? lol But I fixed it a bit!
How does it look?
